If you're travelling north or south around the Cumbria / Scotland border this summer then a good place to take a dog friendly half hour break from driving is the privately owned Westmorland Services on the M6 close to junction 38.

The north and southbound Tebay Services at Westmorland have a dedicated dog walk area away from the traffic and car parks and they enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding fells and countryside - a great place for the whole family to get some fresh air and exercise!
